The Finnish dramatists 'Barren Earth' act opulently on their third album "On Lonely Towers". Barren Earth consisting of members of Kreator, Moonsorrow and (ex-)Amorphis invite you to a musical journey from heavy, doomed death metal to the prog and folk of the seventies. The two previous albums have already been celebrated rightly, especially by fans of Opeth and Amorphis. The upcoming output just marks an absolutely impressive development, that sounds more intense, but also more epic and atmospheric than ever before. "On Lonely Towers" is visually completed through the dark artwork by Travis Smith (Opeth, Katatonia, Death).
