In 2002, Lacuna Coil released an album that today is undeniably a hymnal millennial classic and established the band as one of the few who had the endurance to pursue the path that lay ahead of them at the time.
Now, 20 years later, Lacuna Coil has decided to re-record the songs, but not simply as they were, but deconstruct them and transport them to 2022. 'This is not a reboot or spin-off or anything like that,' says singer Cristina Scabbia. 'We just wanted to give these songs a dress for 2022 and see how a guy or girl who was born 20 years ago would still look damn stylish in 2022.'
