The UK thrashers Onslaught belong to THE bands that symbolise quality and permanence in thrash. Fans and critics around the world celebrate every time a new album is announced. In this case, we’re not talking about a real album, rather a live recording. Let’s see what the fans out there think about this one. Six years have passed since the band last released a visual performance. Now, they’ve delivered a product titled “Live at the slaughterhouse” which perfectly captures the fascinating atmosphere of the two gigs in England on DVD and CD: Bristol (O2 Academy Bristol on 19 July 2014) and London (O2 Academy London on 20 July 2014). The band performs a set of 13 thrash classics that clearly thrills the audience. The remarkable energy at these concerts, immortalised in this release, will give Onslaught fans goose bumps at home as well.
