The Complete Budokan 1978' is presented in a luxurious 4-CD deluxe box set and includes newly remixed, complete live recordings of the two Budokan concerts with 36 previously unreleased tracks; facsimiles of memorabilia such as concert tickets, brochures, posters, and flyers; a 60-page color photo book with previously unreleased photos; and much more, including exclusive liner notes.

The accompanying Vinyl 2LP 'Another Budokan 1978' includes 16 previously unreleased highlight tracks from the Budokan box set.

The Bob Dylan World Tour 1978 marked the artist's first international concert dates since 1966 and his first live shows since the Rolling Thunder Revue, which Toured North America in 1975-76. The one-year Tour was an international music event, with Bob Dylan playing to over two million fans worldwide with a large ensemble.

The Tour began in February 1978 with eleven historic performances: Dylan's very first concerts in Japan, including eight shows at the famous Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo. Two of the Budokan concerts, held on February 28 and March 1, 1978, were recorded on analog 24-track multitrack tapes. Twenty-two performances from these concerts were featured on 'Bob Dylan At Budokan,' a 2LP set released worldwide in April 1979. 'The Complete Budokan 1978' is the first time that Dylan's complete concerts from his 1978 world Tour are officially available.
