With ‘Back from the Dead’, the band ‘Wild Zombie Blast Guide’ from Würzburg presents its third album, which includes 9 songs inspired by old school thrash metal. If at times the word ‘core’ is used to describe this band, it’s simply because they're working with the joy of moshcore bands like ‘D.R.I.’, ‘Anthrax’, ‘Exodus’, and other thrash acts of the late 80’s and early 90’s. But instead of getting caught up in endless retro references, ‘Wild Zombie Blast Guide’ refines and perfects the thrash genre with contemporary song structures and excellent production (mastering by Charles Greywolf of ‘Powerwolf’). ‘Wild Zombie Blast Guide’s thrashing metal madness will inspire both old and new fans of the genre.
