'But Here We Are' is a bruheighty honest and emotionally raw response to everything the Foo Fighters have gone through in the past year, as well as a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship, and family. Bold, damaged, and unwaveringly authentic, 'But Here We Are' opens with the newly released lead single 'Rescued,' the first of 10 songs that traverse the emotional spectrum from anger and grief to serenity and acceptance, with countless points in between.
Produced by Greg Kurstin and the Foo Fighters themselves, 'But Here We Are' is both the band's 11th album and the first chapter of their new life. It represents the sound of brothers who have found refuge in the music that brought them together 28 years ago—a process that is equally therapeutic and life-affirming and reflects the naivety of the Foo Fighters' 1995 debut.
