It seems that it was a tremendous pleasure for Dave Wyndorf and his crew to completely turn upside down "Last Patrol" in 2014 under the name "Milking The Stars: A Re-Imaging Of Last Patrol" and to pimp it with new song material! Now Monster Magnet move a few steps back - to the year 2010 and "Mastermind". Those who know this album is nevertheless not in the least prepared for the trip "Cobras And Fire (The Mastermind Redux) unleashes: just the way Apocalypse Now mutated into a true beast in the redux version. Familiar elements flash up just in order to be massacred by raging Psychedelic orgies - Wyndorf often concentrates on a single song fragment in order to ride with it into complete Nirwana. Straight stadium Rock is to be found elsewhere: here comes the mindfuck of the year!
