Are those really Die Ärzte? Barely a year since the last album. It was called HELL... um... this one is called DUNKEL, seriously? Why are they doing this?

Of course, BelaFarinRod have long become an icon who doesn't worry about pleasing everyone - let alone anyone. They have always done what they do best: be die ärzte. In doubt, without regard for (their own) losses, but in the end always completely convincing.

Two Tours are coming up, two albums in their luggage. Never before have die ärzte fans had such an abundance of new material not yet performed live. It's a blessing and a curse because now those who want to truly know the lyrics have 19 more smash hits to internalize. 19 new songs that again roam in all musical genres and yet somehow condense the soul of die ärzte. 19 songs that, despite their compactness, seem surprisingly cohesive, both musically and lyrically.

They are Die Ärzte. Better than capitalism. Sometimes with Karnickelfickmusik. Or precisely because of it. Because that's their core business: The Best Band in the World.
