With their identically named second work, the Swedish rock band has refined its own strengths and finished an impressive development. "It was our aim to integrate more diverse influences into our songs", front man Alexx explains their new album Dust Bowl Jokies. "We wanted more powerful grooves and more unusual arrangements. Instead of sleaze and glam only, we wanted more influences from rock, jazz, blues and African music as well. Something similar to the music Aerosmith or the Rolling Stones always played for example." Their new songs are even more elaborate and diverse. In combination with the fantastic production, a very modern rock album emerged. The guys sound as thrilling as they sound when they perform on stage.
