Bio-Cancer is an extreme thrash metal band from Athens, Greece, founded in 2010, and was one of the leading acts in the emerging thrash metal scene of the early 2010s in Greece. Since then, they have released two full-length albums. The first, 'Ear Piercing Thrash' (2012), was released by Athens Thrash Attack Records, gained significant attention in the global thrash metal scene, gained a large following, and was recognized in many lists as one of the best thrash metal albums of the year. The second album, 'Tormenting The Innocent' (2015), was released by Candlelight Records and was received very positively by both fans and the media. Those who dismiss these Greek speedsters as another pseudo-crossover failure are missing out on incredibly tight and entertaining true thrash metal made for the audience of the 21st century.
