Saved by magic again (CD, fra Brant Bjork & The Bros

I had just veered off the road and went straight to the outdoor studio in the desert at Rancho de La Luna. At the time, I was living in the house right behind it, which made the sessions very convenient. In a few weeks, I was supposed to record with my band, The Bros, but I decided to go to Rancho earlier and get some sounds. Tony and I then recorded a series of songs that I had spontaneously written. A week later, The Bros showed up and we recorded another series of songs, with the band playing live in the front room.

After we finished, I merged my solo session and The Bros' session and released it as an album called 'Saved By Magic' on my label, Duna Records. That was in 2005. In 2023, I am re-releasing this album on HPS and have decided to separate the two sessions into their original parts. My solo session and The Bros' session. I mainly did this because I feel that The Bros deserve something of their own, as they were a magical band. Plus, I thought it would just be cool. I'm calling both albums 'Saved By Magic Again.'
