The band Meshuggah, founded in Umeå, Sweden in 1987, has been described by Rolling Stone as 'one of the ten most important hard and heavy bands' and enjoys the respect and admiration of fans and musicians alike.

It is impossible to talk about experimental or avant-garde metal without mentioning this truly groundbreaking band: MESHUGGAH blends ultra-complicated rhythmic patterns with powerful riffs and aggressive growls, combining death metal, mathcore, thrash, and progressive metal into their unique style.

The year 2023 now marks the 25th anniversary of one of the band's first milestones: 'Chaosphere.' Originally released on November 9, 1998, Meshuggah's third studio album shows how the band softens some of the more thrashy sounds of earlier releases in favor of a more technical, polyrhythmic, and groove-oriented sound that they will explore on their subsequent albums. The album includes songs such as 'New Millennium Cyanide Christ,' 'Corridor of Chameleons,' and 'Neurotica,' which are among the band's most streamed tracks.

To celebrate the album's 25th anniversary, Atomic Fire will release a sonically remastered version of the album. The reissue of this masterpiece will be available in Hi-Def audio (remastered by Thomas Eberger and Sofia von Hage at Stockholm Mastering) on all streaming platforms, as well as in CD jewel case format (including an 8-page booklet) and in stunning new Vinyl colors (most of which are limited to under 1500 copies worldwide, 180g, 2LP in a 5 mm sleeve including a 2-sided insert) to fulfill every collector's dream.
