Songs as black as the night, lyrics about the bitter nature of reality, along with steely guitars, noble fanfares and whipping drums groove, and maltreat the head like beats from a metallic anvil! The quintet from Osnabrück 'Nachtblut' celebrates its super hard and dark metal at full tilt and with a perfect production. The follow up to their album "DOGMA" from 2012 is named "CHIMONAS" and it shows the charismatic front man Askeroth as the bad conscience of a saturated affluent society, that 'Nachtblut' holds up the mirror to, naming and shaming social wrongs. So: middle finger metal for the sturdy!
